Nassfeld Hermagor ski resort is located at the meeting part of two countries, the southern western Carinthia, the Austrian Gailtal and the Italian Kanaltal. It is among the top ten most popular skiing resorts.

It has 30 lifts that uplift skiers to the upper side of the slopes. These lifts can uplift thousands of skiers per hour. The resort is able to augment its natural snow to an area of 50 km. It has over 200 artificial snow making machines that ensure that snow is present all year round.
